Chrome extension for capturing API calls, detecting errors, and debugging network requests directly from the browser side panel.

Features

Request Capture

  • Intercepts all fetch and XMLHttpRequest calls
  • Captures request/response headers and bodies

Quick Install (No Coding Required)

  1. Download the latest reqpane.zip from Releases
  2. Unzip the downloaded file to a folder
  3. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  4. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top right corner)
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder

Done! Click the Reqpane icon in your toolbar to start debugging.

Developer Installation

  1. Clone this repository
  2. Install dependencies:
    bun install
  3. Build the extension:
    bun run build
  4. Load in Chrome:
    • Go to chrome://extensions
    • Enable "Developer mode"
    • Click "Load unpacked" and select the dist folder

Development

bun run dev      # Watch mode - rebuilds on file changes
bun run build    # Production build
bun run zip      # Build + create zip for Chrome Web Store
