Crashes when crafting in Traveler's Backpack

To Reproduce

Craft an item in Traveler's Backpack

Expected results

It doesn't crash

Logs, crash report, mod list or unmodified mod pack

fwiw the bug in #6 also occurs in this mod selection (though the player inventory still works fine)

Looks to be in need of a backport; is a duplicate of #9 but for 1.20.1 outright... oops

v5.1.0 has been released, which fixes this. Polymorph is also behaving fine, to quite likely they fixed it on their end.
There still needs to be a backport to other versions, so this will remain open.
